Financial Assistance
Grants and incentives are available to encourage the conservation of our State's built heritage.
These include the Heritage Council's Heritage Grants Program, the Heritage Loan Subsidy Scheme, local government grant programs, Lotterywest grants, and Federal Government grants.
While each program has a different set of criteria and eligibility, a project stands a better chance of selection if one or more of the following priorities can be demonstrated:
- urgent work to stabilise a heritage building/structure
- projects that form an integral part of the cultural significance of a conservation area
- successful project management
- conservation planning
